126 Sayyidn a Bil a l Fund This fund was announced by Hadrat Khalifatul Masih IV rh , in his Friday Sermon on 14 th March 1982, for the welfare of the families of Martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of Ahmad i yyat. Expalining the wisdom behind this fund, H u du r said: "I would also like to reassure the Jam a ‘at that, by the grace of All a h, no Ahmad i who is killed in the cause of All a h, shall ever depart from this world thinking of what will become of his wife and children. In Jam a ‘at Ahmad i yya the children of such people do not become orphans. This is a living Jam a ‘at and it is impossible that it should forget its duty towards those who have sacrificed their lives. The guarantee of the life of such Jam a ‘ats lies in that fact that those who offer sacrifices should have no worry about those whom they leave behind. Regarding the importance and great merit of this Scheme H u du r said: "This is not at all a Scheme for S adaqa. Rather whoever takes part in it will consider it an honour and will admit that still he has not done enough. " Giving guidelines to those who participate in this Ta h r i k , H u du r said: "Whoever gives should do so with an open heart and with love. If someone feels the slightest constraint or hesitation, he should not take part in this Scheme. This is a special kind of Scheme and, in order to take part in it, it is not only necessary to be completely willing, but one should even feel compelled to do so.
