30 A There was a rather interesting incident in Rabwah about the death of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). Once, some non-A ™ mad ī scholars came to Rabwah and had discussion with A ™ mad ī scholars. During the discussion, A ™ mad ī scholars presented to them some Qur’ ā nic verses, but non-A ™ mad ī scholars did not look satisfied with the arguments. They wanted to see a clear cut Qur’ ā nic verse mentioning that Jesus Christ has really died. After the discussion, those scholars saw another A ™ mad ī scholar, Maul ā n ā A ™ mad Kh ā n Nas ī m (father of Maul ā n ā Naseem Mahd ī , Am ī r Jam ā ‘at A ™ madiyya, Canada). Once again, they insisted on having a clear-cut Qur’ ā nic verse about the death of Jesus. Maul ā n ā Naseem, sensing the situation, adopted a wise attitude and instead of presenting the Qur’ ā nic verses, which they insisted to see, asked them the simple question if they had accepted the death of all the prophets due to the verses of the Holy Qur’ ā n and that was why they were insisting to see a clear cut verse from the Holy Qur’ ā n about Jesus Christ’s death? This simple answer convinced them and they said that that was sufficient and they did not want to see any verse about the death of Jesus (peace be upon him) from the Holy Qur’ ā n. [10]
