222 Then He states: 1 Pt. 14, Last Ruk u ‘ — ْنِا ْمُتْبَقاَع اْوُبِقاَعَف ِلْثِمِب اَم ْمُتْبِقْوُع ٖهِب Then He states: 2 21/18— ْذِا ْمُكْوُءٓاَج ْنِّم ْمُكِقْوَف َو ْنِم َلَفْسَا ْمُكْنِم Then He states: 3 4/1— َلْهَاٰۤي ِبٰتِكْلا َمِل َنْوُّدُصَت Then He states: 4 10/8— َو ْمُه ْمُكْوُءَدَب َلَّوَا ٍةَّرَم Now, after the translation of these verses you will realise what the real truth is. If this question is raised that no matter what sufferings the dis- believers imposed, the Muslims should have remained patient, then the rebuttal is that the disbelievers attributed their victories to the support of their idols L a t and ‘Uzz a —the Holy Quran being full of these exam- ples—whereas that was a time of respite given to them. It was for this reason that God Almighty desired that it should be proven that just as their idols are unable to compete with the Holy Quran; similarly, they are unable to make them victorious through the sword.
