Proceedings—Debate 2 June 1893 221 َو ْذِا ُرُكْمَي َكِب َنْيِذَّلا اْوُرَفَك َكْوُتِبْثُيِل ْوَا َكْوُلُتْقَي ْوَا َكْوُجِرْخُي١ؕ َو َنْوُرُكْمَي َو ُرُكْمَي ُهّٰللا١ؕ َو ُهّٰللا ُرْيَخ 1 9/18 — َنْيِرِكٰمْلا۰۰ Then He states: 2 5/7 الٰی آخرہ — َو اَم ْمُكَل اَل َنْوُلِتاَقُت ْيِف ِلْيِبَس ِهّٰللا َو َنْيِفَعْضَتْسُمْلا َنِم ِلاَجِّرلا َو ِءٓاَسِّنلا َو ِناَدْلِوْلا Then He states: 3 2/8— َو اْوُلِتاَق ْيِف ِلْيِبَس ِهّٰللا َنْيِذَّلا ْمُكَنْوُلِتاَقُي َو اَل اْوُدَتْعَت Then He states: 4 2/10— َو اَل َنْوُلاَزَي ْمُكَنْوُلِتاَقُي ىّٰتَح ْمُكْوُّدُرَي ْنَع ْمُكِنْيِد ِنِا اْوُعاَطَتْسا Then He states: 5 2/17— َو ْوَل اَل ُعْفَد ِهّٰللا َساَّنلا ْمُهَضْعَب ٍضْعَبِب١ۙ ِتَدَسَفَّل ُضْرَاْلا 1. And remember the time when the disbelievers plotted against thee that they might imprison thee or kill thee or expel thee. And they planned, and Allah also planned, and Allah is the Best of planners ( S u rah al-Anf a l, 8:31). [Publisher] 2. And what is the matter with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and of the weak—men, women and children—who say, ‘Our Lord, take us out of this town, whose people are oppressors, and make for us some friend from Thyself, and make for us from Thyself some helper?’ ( S u rah an-Nis a ’, 4:76) [Publisher] 3. And fight in the cause of Allāh against those who fight against you, but do not transgress ( S u rah al-Baqarah, 2:191). [Publisher] 4. And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith, if they can ( S u rah al-Baqarah, 2:218). [Publisher] 5. And had it not been for Allāh’s repelling men, some of them by the others, the earth would have become filled with disorder ( S u rah al-Baqarah, 2:252). [Publisher]
