Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad—Khalifatul-Masih V aba 17 This is exactly what we are seeing in the world, both among the general population and among leaders as well. The clashes between politicians and the injustices that they inflict on one another in order to gain power which we are witnessing in our own [Muslim] countries are the result of this very mindset. Hence, if there is merely a desire for peace [for oneself ], then it can become the cause of disorder, because it comprises nothing but selfishness. Those who desire peace do so for themselves and those close to them or for their own nation. Otherwise, they wish to destroy the peace of others and their enemies. Hence, if the principle of seeking a certain standard for oneself and a different standard for others is established, then any peace that is established in the world will be peace for a select few, not world peace. If peace is not for the entire world, then it cannot be considered true peace. True peace can only be established when it is established beyond personal,
