29 And in his hand I see the Dhulfiq a r. 24 In respect of incontrovertible arguments, his adroit hand flashes like a sword. Then I see him with the Dhulfiq a r. There was a time when Hadrat ‘Al i ra held the Dhulfiq a r in his hand; but Allah, the Exalted, will bestow Dhulfiq a r upon that Imam in such a manner that his luminous hand will accomplish that which in the past had been accomplished by Dhulfiq a r. Thus his hand will be as if it was the Dhulfiq a r of ‘Al i ra that has reappeared. This is an indication that the said Imam will be Sul ta nul Qalam 25 and his pen will serve as Dhulfiq a r. This prediction is an exact translation of a revelation vouchsafed to me, which was published ten years ago in Br a h i n-e-Ahmadiyya. It reads: Kit a bul Wal i Dhulfiq a r-e-‘Al i , which means that the book of this saint is the Dhulfiq a r of ‘Al i ra. Here the reference is to myself, and, on account of this, in many a visions I have been called Gh a z i 26 and there are allusions to this in Br a h i n-e-Ahmadiyya and in other places. I see that he is God's soldier, defender of friends and killer of the foe; And he is compassionate and faithful like the Friend of the Cave. 27 He is the Gh a z i appointed by God, the Exalted.
