13 Migration to Madinah When the disbelievers of Makkah planned the arrest and assassination of the Holy Prophet sas , Allah the Almighty permitted the Holy Prophet sas to migrate. Earlier, many Muslims had migrated to Abyssinia [Ethiopia] and at last, the day arrived when the Holy Prophet sas migrated to Madinah with Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ra.
