CHAPTER THREE Once, the Promised Messiah as asked Hazrat Amma Jaan ra to cook some pulao [fried rice and meat] and have it dis- tributed to all the houses in Qadian. Huzoor as instructed that all the people in each house should be given this rice. At that time ’s husband worked in Jammu so her father-in-law, Qazi Zia-ud-Din ra, not wanting his son to miss out on the blessings, took a few grains of rice and stuck them to a piece of paper.
