89 In an interview with the author, Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib 's daughter Syeda Amtullah Begum (Begum Pir Salahuddin) stated that Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra had a personal car which he would sometimes drive around. Before acquiring the car, he learned driving from a Hindu friend of his. Ḥaḍrat Mir Sa h ib ra presented this car of his, as a gift, to Ḥaḍrat Ammāñ Jān ra. Ḥaḍrat Ammāñ Jān ra used the car for some time and eventually presented it to the Jamā‘at. On Eidul Fi t r , Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra would, as a matter of rule, send an " Eid ī " (Eid gift) and the Eid breakfast for Ḥaḍrat Ammāñ Jān , which Ḥaḍrat Ammāñ Jān ra would lovingly receive. Ḥaḍrat Mir Ismail ra was extremely fond of his younger brother Ḥaḍrat Mir Ishaq ra. Ḥaḍrat Syeda Maryam Siddiqa narrates: When my uncle [ Ḥaḍrat Mir Ishaq ra ] fell ill, I witne ssed my father [ Ḥaḍrat Mir Ismail ra ] massaging his [brother’s] feet.
