50 to drive him, while he himself sat in the sidecar. Just when he was in the middle of nowhere, the bike broke down. It was getting dark and a forest lay ahead, with no habitation nearby. Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra was carrying a siz able amount of money with him and the risk of being robbed was very much real. With this situation at hand, Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra prayed to God for help. Just then, a car came and stopped by him. He looked up to find that it was Ḥaḍrat Khalīfatul - Masīḥ II ra a nd Ḥaḍrat Chaudhry Zafrulla Khan ra , who also happened to be travelling along the same route, to Lahore. He was instantly granted the help he was asking for - a ride. And what a ride, indeed! This was a miracle of prayer being answered. Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra l ater recalled: "My heart was so overwhelmed by this immaculately timed Divine help that I had to struggle to suppress my emotions". 33 Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib 's school of Mysticism, was thus, rooted less in the concept of "imagining the Beloved" and more in " havi ng witnessing the Beloved". He paced the path of true Mysticism, the path which had been revived by the Promised Messiah as. His mystical state was de fined not by words, but by repeated personal experiences. His love for God and his persistent state of bein g immersed in this love , is the spirit of every single aspect of his life. His poetry, compiled under the name of " Bukhār - e - Dil ” , too, is deeply mystical - the words of a true Saint.
