At a difficult time like this, Allah gave much courage and enabled her to make some difficult decisions. She put their current house, which was too big for them, on rent and moved the family to a smaller house. However, her husband’s illness continued to worsen, and he passed away on 22 February 1926. His wasiyyat number was 2 showing that he was one of the earliest people to take part in the Wasiyyat Scheme, which the Promised Messiah as had initi- ated. Naturally, he was buried in Bahishti Maqbarah, Qadian, which is the graveyard established by the Promised Messiah as for the burial of those people who have fulfilled the conditions of Wasiyyat.
