HAQIQATUL-WAḤI—THE PHILOSOPHY OF DIVINE REVELATION محمد اگر خواہی دلیلے عاشقش باش بربان If you desire a proof [of his truthfulness], be his lover; For Muḥammad himself is the proof of Muḥammadsa. سرے دارم فدائے خاک احمد دلم ہر وقت قربان محمد My body craves to be sacrificed for the dust of Aḥmad’s³ª feet; My heart is ever eager to die for Muḥammadsa. که هستم بگیسوئے رسول اللہ کہ بستم نثار روتے تابان By the tresses of the Prophet of God, I would die for the illumined countenance of Muḥammad³ª. دریس ره گر گشندم ور بسوزند نتابم روز ایوان محمد Cut me to pieces or burn me to death, I will not turn away from the court of Muḥammadsa. سهل است از دنیا بریدن بیاد احسان محمد How easy it is to renounce the world When one contemplates the beauty and grace of Muḥammadsa! که دیدم حسن پہنان محمد رہش ہر ذرة من فدا شد در Every particle of my being has been sacrificed in his path; For, I have witnessed the latent beauty of Muḥammadsa. دگر اُستاد را نامے ندانم که که خواندم در دبستان محمد I know not the name of any other teacher; I have studied at the school of Muḥammadsa. بدیگر دلبرے کارے ندارم که آن محمد I have no affiliation with any other beloved; I have fallen prey to the loving ways of Muḥammadsa. 370
