Hakam & Adl: The One to Unify the Ummah 20 step down themselves, overpowered and defeated [by his eloquence]. His every attribute was outstanding, and he was flawless in his speech and eloquence. He who denies his perfection adopts the way of the shameless. ’ 7 With regards to Hazrat Ali’s ra rank and his Khilafat, the Promised Messiah as says: ‘There is no doubt that Hazrat Ali ra was a hope for the seekers of the truth and an unparalleled model of generosity. He was divine proof for the people and the best example of his time. He was the light of Allah that was to illuminate the world. But the era of his Caliphate was not a time of peace and safety, but a time of intense conflict and discord. People differed between his Caliphate and the Caliphate of Ibn Abi Sufyan and would look to them in a state of utter perplexity. Some people considered them to be like two bright Furqad [two bright stars of Ursa Minor] stars and considered them equal in stature.
