Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad—Khalifatul-Masih V aba 37 stated: ‘Let it be known that I have been informed through a postal card that certain ignorant people, who associate themselves with my Jama’at, have claimed that Imam Hussain ra was amongst those who rebelled owing to his refusal in performing the Bai'at of the Khalifah of the time, i. e. Yazid, and that Yazid was on the side of the truth, God-forbid. ’ The Promised Messiah as further stated: َ الْکَاذِبِیْن لَعْنَةُ اللّٰہِ عَلَی ‘Curse be upon the liars!
