Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad—Khalifatul-Masih V aba 15 Islam. I am convinced that after the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, if the person of Abu Bakr Siddeeq ra had not existed, there would be no Islam. ’ That is to say that God Almighty appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr ra to protect Islam from the attacks of the enemy and to safeguard the Shariah. The Promised Messiah as further states, ‘Abu Bakr Siddeeq ra has rendered an incredible service for us, for he established Islam again. Through the strength of his faith, he brought all of the rebels to account and established peace. God Almighty had stated and promised that he would bring peace at the hand of the true Caliph and this prophecy was fulfilled in the Caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddeeq ra.
