Seventh Frid ay Sennon Nov 23, 1990 Thus, all the Ahmadi Muslims of the world must draw the attention of the Muslims to the fact that these verses which I recited at the beginning of this discourse contain the prescription of saving them from certain death. I beseech you to fear God and ponder over these verses. A Muslim must immediately stop beheading a Muslim brother. Otherwise neither the victim thus slain will die in a state of being a Muslim nor the assassin be considered a champion in the sight of Allah - rather he will be deemed a murderer of a Muslim. It becomes all the more abhorrent if, in addition to this injustice, you start i nviting other non-Muslim nations to come and help you in this slaughter of your own brothers. This is a time for concerted prayers because without prayers the sealed hearts cannot be u nlocked. Mere advice is not the key that unlocks the sealed hearts unless Allah so ordains. Thus you should offer sincere prayers and try your utmost to draw the attention of the Muslims, repeatedly, to the lessons contained in these verses, cautioning them that their very survival is embodied in these verses - abandoning them would spell their certain death. A death so awful, about which this verse of the Holy Quran stands as a testimony that this death was neither in a state of righteousness nor in a state of Islam. Thus, how unfortunate it would be if you spent all your life calling yourself a Muslim and trying to follow the teachings of Islam, and apparently dying in defence of Islam, yet to have such ignoble end that the Word of the Holy Quran should stand as a witness against you as if saying: O ye who prattled about faith! 0 ye who babbled about Taqwa! O ye who spoke of Islam! Listen, the Word of Allah bears witness that you tasted nothing of faith nor were you aware of the fundamentals of Taqwa nor do you have any right to brag about Islam. Thus we are seeing the signs of very ominous times for the future. There is indeed only one Jamaat (Community) in the world which is affiliated with the "rope" of the Khilafar instituted by God the Exalted, and which is attached to that rope of Allah. This is the only Community which has fulfilled the demands of this verse by uniting on one hand and entering into a covenant of loyalty with Muhammad. . . and his Shariah and grasped the "rope of Allah" collectively. 132
