The Gulf Crisis and New World Order — Page iv

T he whole world witnessed Iraq's invasion and annexation of Kuwait on August 2nd, 1990. The following day, the Supreme Head of the Ahmadiyya Musiim Jama'at began a series of seventeen sermons on this important issue. He elaborated on the solution to this crisis in light of the teachings of the Holy Qur'an. These sermons have been compiled and are presented in this book. The Author voices a deep yearning for peace in the World. His words are f r ee f r om any personal motives or political bias. The sermons present a viewpoint that is neither aligned with Eastern nor Western nations; rather, the Author provides a definitive explanation of the teachings of the Holy Qur'an relating to international affairs. This is the only book of its kind, in which a Muslim Spiritual leader addresses a world issue in such depth. The Author unmasks the injustices and double standards of both Eastern and Western nations. This book may well indeed become a benchmark on International Justice and Islamic theology, as the sermons have already proven to be.
