Fifteenth Friday Sennon Mar 01, 1991 So you see, from the point of view of history, how soon within a few years the scene was completely changed. Our Allah is a living God and will live forever. Generations come and generations go. I do not advise you to put your reliance on the 'chances of history'. I only ask of you to keep in mind the subject of the changing situations of history. Be not disheartened. Put your trust in God who is eternal and upon whom no power of the world can prevail. He can overwhelm every power of the world. These temporal powers are of no match or relevance to Him. If you are the aggrieved and the oppressed, and you are groaning with agony, then divert these moans into supplications before Allah, I assure you , that by so doing, every single defeat of yours will be transformed into a magnificent success. ADVICE TO THE ALLIED POWERS I advise the allied annies and the Leaders of allied countries that if you cherish the welfare of humanity and want a lasting peace, then you should realize that in the past, all your political strategies and principles have failed miserably and repeatedly, and could not grant Peace to the world. Therefore for God's sake would you not learn a lesson even now and adopt these principles of Islamic politics which are linked with 'Taqwa' (righteousness). If you adopt those three principles which I have earlier mentioned then you would find that this is the 011/y means through which the world can be given a surety of a lasting peace. If you ignore them, then remember; whether they be the forces of tyranny and oppression from the East, from the West, or may it be the U. S. dropping nuclear bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, or it be Japan setting unparalleled records of horror and cruelty in Indonesia, I assure you that if the intentions remain the same, which have been the intentions of politicians at all times, based on selfishness as against high morals, then all their efforts will be futile and they will never be able to give Peace to the World! It is incumbent upon the powerful nations of the world that at first they destroy the demons of deceit lurking in their intensions. If they will not do so then elimination the elite forces of Saddam or for that matter any other force will give them no 288
