You will be surprised to learn that during the aerial bombardment only 7000 people were killed in Belgium and Britain, while in the bombardment in Beirut 14,000 people were killed. No one has given any importance to this act of terrorism and no Western power has protested or raised its voice against Israel. THE STATUS OF ISRAELI PROMISES As far as the promises of Israel are concerned it is said that if the Arabs resolve their differences with Israel, they have nothing to fear. That is a white lie, a lie unequalled in it's enonnity. I will present statistics to show that Israel's promises cannot be trusted and that the Israeli lie is greater than all the lies in the world put together. In the 1967 war, which was forced upon the Arabs by Israel, the Arabs lost a good amount of territory to Israel. Before the War, Israel promised and made the Western powers to believe that it would not annex any Arab land and that it would not dispossess the Arabs of even one foot of their territory. Israel alleged that it only occupied the land to teach the Palestinians and its supporters a lesson and as a warning that any attack on Israel would merit punishment. Levi Eshkol 4 was the Prime Minister of Israel just before the 1967 war. "Israel", said the Prime Minister, "had no intention of annexing even one foot of Arab territory. " After the 1967 war, if one were to count the number of feet of land that had been annexed by Israel it would run to 73 trillion feet! You have heard of a billion, one thousand million equals one billion and 1,000 billion is one trillion, that is 73 thousand million square feet of Arab land has been annexed. This reminds me of a Western writer who once, talking about the atrocities committed by Israel, said: "An eye for an eye, I understand, is their religious belief. And a tooth for a tooth. But 20 eyes for one eye is something beyond me. " What this Western writer did not realize is that the Israelis are prepared to break trillions of promises, not one promise.
