The Gulf Crisis and New World Order — Page 103

The Gulf Crisis & The New World Order Our opponents think that their sword will be the first to smite, but our Lord is aware, and indeed He is our witness, that the wrath of Allah will always precede their intended swipe. Such hands that rise today, or may rise in future, with the ill intention of wiping out Ahmadiyyat from the surface of the earth, will themselves be paralysed. No power will ever alter this decree of Allah. Many obstacles will be encountered and many trials will come, so says the Holy Quran. You will be confronted with various types of spiritual and emotional shocks, but if you remain steadfast and cling to this response of the Holy Prophet M uhammad•u with trust and absolute sincerity and challenge the opponent saying: O' my adversary who stands poised with the sword, remember that just as my God, in the past, shielded and protected Godly men from the evil of your sword, do not forget that even today, That God is a Living God. We swear by the name of His Majesty that the same God will deliver us from your oppression and cruelty. Therefore, if some members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community have been pained by the threats of our opponents, I have been equally distressed by the reaction of some Ahmadis who consider that God-forbid the sword of oppression has been handed over to such hands which will eventually end-up by destroying Ahmadiyyat. I swear to God, this will never happen! The opposition of such tyrants has always resulted in the progress of Ahmadiyyat, opening new vistas of advancement. The last eleven years of Zia-ul-Haq's tyrannical rule were such that he endured every moment of this period in extreme anguish and frustration and could not stem the progress of Ahmadiyyat in the world, and later bid farewell to this world, in total ignominy, failure and disappointment. Thus, how can your faith fluctuate with the swapping of swords. Guard your faith and exhibit steadfastness. Put your trust in God and have firm faith that, that God who has vowed that He, and His apostles will eventually prevail, will see to it that He and His apostles prevail - they will certainly prevail - will certainly prevail - will certainly prevail! 103
