The Gulf Crisis & The New World Order MEANINGLESS SHOUTS OF JIHAD WlTHOUT ADEQUATE PREPARATION And the height of the tragedy is that while believing in their brand of the ideology of jihad, they make no preparation for it. The divine teaching was: (Al-Anfal: Verse 61) 0 ye Muslims, be prepared fer your self defense and make the best preparation against any enemy who has the capacity to attack you at any time. Be prepared on every front with your cavalry and infantry that the enemy be scared of you. No one should dare to attack a well prepared people like you. Before they become your enemies, they were the enemies of Allah. ;r��. Ji1;� , Therefore you may be oblivious of your enemies but God is not. _;,� !Lf�;. t;j At a time when you might be unaware or them, God will be watching them. Therefore, if you obey the Command of Preparation with your heart and soul, God gives you the glad-tiding, that even in your obliviousness, God will cover you and protect you from the onslaughts of your enemy. These are the responsibilities of Muslims after they accept the teachings of jihad and the instructions to act upon them which have been laid down by the Holy Quran. Where are the Muslims who act upon them? In fact, every Muslim ·country depends for arms and weapons on the very country against whom it declares jihad. The Eastern or Western countries who are branded as polytheists, away from God, the enemies of God, idolaters, tyrants, cruel, and what not,about whom it is pronounced that you are ordered by God to fight against them are the very countries before whom we extend our begging hand for r ockets, war planes and naval ships as well as guns and all other related paraphernalia. Simplicity has its limit! 295
