They have, thus, discarded the guiding principles of politics as enunciated by the Quran. This is the reason, why up till now, whenever the Muslims clashed with the opponents of Islam, they always suffered (barring a few exceptions) with humiliating and horrible defeats! This so happened, for disregarding the Divine principles, despite the fact that there was a very clear and firm promise in the Holy Quran: (Surah AI-Haj: Verse 40) Beware O' those who set out upon 'Jihad' for My sake and in My name; Listen! You may be weak but I am not. I give you my promise and this promise is inexorable that: ·· �. . . . ,. •,. . . . !. -: , J'!. , ��':""" �. JJ. 11. . :J, These weak people may be despicable in the sight of the world, but when they set out upon 'Jihad' (The holy struggle) they will be granted Divine help and they will be made to dominate over their enelDles. This is the question agitating the mind of Muslims, world-over and that is why I have given this question special prominence; so that I may console the grievi ng hearts of all Muslims of the East and the West that this defeat is not the defeat of Islam: rather it is the defeat of those "Muslims" who abandoned the principles of Islam and instead adopted the defeatist irreligious principles. THIS IS NOT A BATTLE BETWEEN TRUTH AND FALSEHOOD Therefore, this war ceased to be a war between Truth and Falsehood -it turned out to be a war between The Mighty and the Meek. God supported neither side in such a situation. Whenever there would be a war between The Mighty and the Weak; the Mighty would invariably win. And this is the true meaning of the phrase: "might is right". So in this terrible incident of the Gulf, there are deep lessons to be learnt The greatest lesson is that the Muslims will have to return to their lofty, unshakable and invincible principles.
