1he Gulf Crisis &: The New World Order deeds. The United States must see itself as others see it and take great care to avoid becoming the moral outcast of the 20th century. The United States must recall the reasons which gave it its birth and attempt to achieve those noble aims. Instead the U. S. seems to be acting at direct variance to those ideals. It is not making any effort to achieve and promote peace but is rather actively inciting nations to war. The U. S. is clearly not prepared to listen to any voice but its own. It is so intoxicated with its power and arrogance that it appears to be sitting on top of an imaginary minaret propped up by atrocities, unconcerned with the sufferings it has unleashed in the world. As to what will happen in the future and what Allah's decree will be, I will lllshallah address you on this point in the next sermon. In that sermon I will also give advice to the Jews, Muslims and the rest of the world. We are going through the most critical juncture of human history. We have reached a sensitive and delicate stage. There is still time to tum away from the catastrophe facing us. The opportunity to salvage our future is still not completely lost. I have firm faith that if they will listen to and heed to my advice which I will give in the light of the teaching of Islam and the Quran, the approaching calamity could be averted. OFFER PRAYERS But we have no position or influence in the world. We are only humble worshippers of God. We pray, but we are confident we can achieve with our prayers what we cannot achieve with our efforts. Our efforts have no significance. Our address falls on deaf ears, and cannot even quiver a single hair of the people of the U. S. Despite all that, it was destined that in the latter days, if anything can change the direction or course of world history it is the prayers of the followers of the Promised Messiah. .
