/11 the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful FOURTH FRIDAY SERMON OCTOBER 26, 1990 AN ALARMING CONSPIRACY HATCHED AGAINST THE MUSLIM WORLD After the reciting the Opening Chapter of the Holy Quran, Al Fatiba, Hazoor recited the following verses: "O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female; and We have made you into tribes and sub-tribes that you may recognize one another. Verily, the most honourable among you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous among you. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing- All-Aware. " (Holy Quran, Chapter 49 AI-Hujurat verse-14) Following the recitation of these verses Hazoor said: NEW CHALLENGES EMERGING IN THE CHANGING CIRCUMSTANCES During the course of my previous sermon I bad called the attention of the Jamaal towards the changing circumstances that have opened up new fields of struggle for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, where the values of Islam will be pitted against those of the non-Islamic forces. New challenges will have to be confronted. The fact is that, historically, such conflicts have occurred all along, but during certain era these battles arise too conspicuously and appear unusually significant compared to other periods. In the present era, Islam will be confronted with the rival social values. The Western world, which predominantly consists of Christians, is bound to divert the attention 73
