Now if you reflect and ponder, if Iraq occupies Kuwait, then why don't they compare this occupation with the Chinese occupation of Tibet. The fact is that in the case of Tibet there are national differences, racial and religious differences, as well as many other differences which have been trampled upon and a nation has been crushed. Here is a Muslim country which has occupied a neighbouring state on the basis that in practice, there is no difference between them. They are both Arabs and Muslims but historically, (and it is not a very old history either) Kuwait was a part of Iraq and the British government had sliced it off and separated it. I am not advising here that these old graves should be dug up, all I am showing is that the uniting together of mankind against Iraq, is not based on any righteousness or on the principles of justice. When Israel occupied the West Bank of Jordan River, no one paid any attention and no one thinks that this action poses a great threat to the world peace. THE RULE OF SELFISHNESS ON THE WORLD So it is only selfishness which rules the world today and it is the selfishness which creates dangers. The strong and bigger nations are inclined to suppress many a danger for the sake of their political gains. They take enjoyment in the thoughts that if such and such person or such and such leader or nation acts against our interests then we will incite the latent danger in that region and will unleash the volcanic material to teach them a lesson for such actions. Now you can see that when Iran treated America unfairly, The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community which is based on justice did not support Iran or its occupation of the American Embassy and the seizing of their diplomatic personnel. The sanctity established for the Ambassadors by the Holy Prophet Muhammad•u and the splendid teaching which he bas given in this regard, is such that it does not behove any Muslim country to ignore these teachings. Therefore we never supported them. But it is wrong to think that it was a one sided oppression.
