S u rah Ha M i m as-Sajdah, Chapter 41, Verses 31-33 247 the midst of severe trials and tribulations. It is when the Faithful are beset with dangers all round, when they are threatened with loss of life, property and honour in the path of God, and whatever is consoling and comforting forsakes them, so much so, that God tries them by closing the door of heartening visions and revelations for a time; it is when they are surrounded by all these dreary conditions--- and though the last ray of hope passes away, yet they show perseverance--- that the angels of God descend upon them, giving them the message of hope and good cheer.
