24 [actual wording of the] prayer was taught , which was ne eded in order to be protect ed from the jealousy of other people. After this it states, َو ا ۡﻧ َﺤ ۡﺮ , “ O Muhammad sa , make sacri fic e. ” In this context , n ah r does not mean the sacrifice of a camel , but the sacrifice of himself and his c ompanions ra. God Almighty states do not only offer prayers but be ready to sacrifice yourself and your c ompanions ra. For Satan will never allow the grand purpose for which you have been rais ed to be easily accomplished. The enemy will try its utmost to render useless all the kau tha r We have blessed you. That is why it is your duty to offer your life and the life of your c ompanions ra in this cause; just as a person does not fear in sacrificing a goat, camel , or cow, you should be fearless in offering yourself and offering the sacrifice of you r relatives and your c ompanions ra. ِا َّن َﺷ ﺎ ِﻧ َﺌ َﻚ ُﻫ َﻮ ا َۡﻻ ۡﺑ َُرت (Holy Qur’an, Ch. 108: V. 4) “ If you continue to offer such sacrifices, the result will be that the enemies who are trying to destroy you, will themselves be wiped out. ” So, observe how all the above meanings concur with one an other. In light of these meanings, every single part of th is verse is deeply interconnected with the other. In truth , God Almighty has told us how a d ivine movement is established and has told us that whe r ever the truth is revealed, opponents will always attempt to destroy it. At such times, one way to thwart the efforts of the enemy is to pray to God Almighty and seek His help and support. The second method is to offer every kind of sacrifice for the protection of the faith and the spread ing of the truth. The result will surel y be in your favor and your enemy will be left useless and disappointe d. Therefore, if E ِﻟ َﺮ ِّﺑ َﻚ َو ا ۡﻧ َﺤ ۡﺮ َﻓ َﺼ ِّﻞ So pray to thy Lord, and offer sacrifice. is carried out, then the outcome of ِا َّن َﺷ ﺎ ِﻧ َﺌ َﻚ ُﻫ َﻮ ا َۡﻻ ۡﺑ َُرت Surely, it is thy enemy who shall be without issue.
