The noun form of the concept is called Khatm-e- Nubuwwat. Khilafat: The institution of Successorship in Islam. Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya: Khilafat established in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at after the demise of the Promised Messiah [as]. Khilafat-e-Rashida: Khilafat established in Islam after the demise of the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad [saw]. Lajna Imaillah: Association of the Handmaidens of God, a ladies organisation for women over fifteen years. Mahdi: The literal translation of this word is “the guided one”.
