Extreme Lies and Verdicts of Disbelief Against the Founder of the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jama'at [ 32 ] A’immah [leaders] should marry a non-Shia because we do not consider them believers. Any Muslim who does not subscribe to the Shia doctrine of twelve A’immah is not a mo’min [believer], but he is a Muslim. So far, the statement is reasonable and needs to be appreci- ated. Now we can say why they call themselves believer— they have based this upon the Holy Qur’an and have, in this respect, used better sense and judgment that the Sunni ulemas. Their statement that if anyone calls himself Muslim, let him do so, is very sensible. But what is the ver- dict if a Shia gets married to a non-Shia? ‘All a mah al- Ha ‘ir i was a great Shia scholar. His son writes:. . . If such a nik ah 20 does take place, the nik ah will be null and void and the children would be illegitimate according to Islamic Law.
