v Acknowledgements The English translation of Tau dih -e-Mar a m—Elucidation of Objectives—by Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah and Mahd i as , is published for the first time in England. The book was originally translated from Urdu into English by Professor Qazi Muhammad Aslam and published in Pakistan. The present English edition is a new translation by Chaudhry Muhammad Ali to whom we are extremely obliged for the great pains he has taken to improve the quality of the translation and to make it as true to the original as is possible for any translation to be.
