29 The Divine converse which I experience is unequivocal. If I were to doubt it even for an instant, I would become a disbeliever and my afterlife would be ruined. The Word that is revealed to me is certain and definite. Just as no one can doubt the sun and its light when he has seen it, in the same manner, I cannot doubt the veracity of the Word which is revealed to me from God. I believe in it just as I believe in the Book of God. It is possible that, for a time, I might misunderstand the meaning of a particular revelation, but it is impossible for me to have any doubt about it being the Word of God. By my definition, a Prophet is one upon whom the certain and unequivocal Word of God descends in abundance, and it is such as contains matters of the unseen. It is in this context that God has called me a Prophet, albeit one who does not bring any new law. Till the Day of Judgement, the Holy Quran shall remain the Law-bearing Book. The word of God which is bestowed upon me has an extraordinary effect and it reveals itself to me with luminous rays. It penetrates my heart like a metal nail and saturates me with its spiritual powers. It is pleasing, eloquent and soothing and is accompanied by Divine awe. It is not niggardly in relating the
