37 An Important Note This book, entitled Tajall i y a t-e-Il a hiyyah, was printed during the life of the Promised Messiah as at D ia-ul-Isl a m Press, under the management of Hakim Fa d ludd i n Sahib Bhairw i ra. But as the Promised Messiah had not completed writing the book, it was not published at the time. It was only in 1922 that, with the permission of Hadrat Khalifatul Masih II, the book was first published with the addition of the title page. The second edition was published in 1936 and this is the third edition. The principle we adopt with regard to the writings and books of the Promised Messiah as is that we publish them exactly as they were published in the lifetime of the Promised Messiah as and under his own supervision. We do not consider it proper to change any of the words on the basis of our own suppositions. In fact, we have not changed even the most evident misprints in this book and have published them exactly as printed in the original.
