وصی وصل praised the thing; he gave the thing a character. نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُوْنَ We know what they describe or allege )2397( وَصْفٌ : Description; assertion; allegation; praise. سَيَجْزِيْهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ : He (God) will reward them for their assertion (6:140). وَصَلَ ]aor. يَصِلُ inf. noun وَصَلَ الشَّيْءَ بِالشَّيْءِ وَصْلاً : He joined or connected this thing with that; he brought the two things together. وَصَلَهُ : He had close and friendly relations with him. وَصَلَ إِلَيْهِ : He or it arrived at or came to or reached him or it. وَالَّذِيْنَ يَصِلُوْنَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوْصَلَ : Those who join what Allah has commanded to be joined )13:22( فَلَمَّا رَا أَيْدِيَهُمْ لا تَصِلُ إِلَيْهِ : When he saw their hands not reaching it )11:71( إِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ يَصِلُّوْنَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ : Except those who are connected with a people )4:91( وَصَّلَ الشَّيْءَ بالشَّيْءِ : He united or joined one thing with another وَصَّلَهُ إِلَيْهِ : He conveyed it to him. وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ الْقَوْلَ : We conveyed to them the Word; We sent the revelation or the Word to them continuously )28:52( 5:104) : وَصِيْلَةٌ(: Name given to a she-camel which was let loose after she had given birth to seven female young ones consecutively. وَى ]aor. يَصِي inf. noun وَصْيًا and وَصَّى aor. يُوَصِّى inf. noun وَصَّى [ تَوْصِيَةٌ فُلانًا بِكَذَا أَوْ أَوْصَى بِكَذَا : He enjoined upon him with such a thing; he charged him with such a thing; he exhorted him to do such a thing. وَصَّى بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ : Abraham enjoined this (upon his sons( )2:13( أَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلُوةِ : He enjoined upon me Prayer )19:32(. They exhort one another to accept the : تَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ truth and exhort one another to be steadfast )1034( وَصَّى لَهُ بِمَالِهِ : He made a will in his favour, making him heir to his property )after his death(. أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ : Have they made or left it as a legacy )left it as a will) to one another )51:54( وَصِيَّةٌ : Legacy; will; testament; injunction; bequest; charge; command; an admonition with an endeavour to persuade. . . . . . . . مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوْصى وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللَّهِ بها : After the payment of any bequests which they have been bequeathed. This is an injunction from Allah If he leave much wealth that he : إِنْ تَرَكَ خَيْرَنِ الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ (4:13) make a will to parents )2:181( تَوْصِيَةٌ : Making a will. لا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ 827
