هيمن هيهات وَجْهِهِ : He went at random, not knowing where he was going. في كُلِّ وَادٍ يَّهِيْمُوْنَ : They wander aimlessly in every valley )26:226(. فَشَارِبُوْنَ شُرْبَ الْهِيْمِ : Drinking as the insatiably thirsty camels drink )56:56( هِيمٌ is the plural of الْأَهْيَمُ الْأَهْيَمُ : A person afflicted with extreme love )هَيْمَاءُ )feminine); a camel or person suffering from dropsy or insatiable thirst or extreme love. لَيْلٌ أَهْيَمُ : A night without stars. رَجُلٌ هَائِمٌ : A perplexed man أَهْيَمُ : Thirsty . الْهُيَامُ : Severe thirst; dropsy or a kind of disease from which camels suffer from insatiable thirst; insanity caused by extreme love. رَجُلٌ هَيْمَانُ : A thirsty man. و The bird : هَيْمَنَ الطَّائِرُ عَلَى فِرَاخِهِ . The man said Amen : هَيْمَنَ الرَّجُلُ هَيْمَنَ fluttered its wings over its youngs هَيْمَنَ فُلانٌ عَلَى كَذَا : Such a one became a protector and guardian over it. اَلْمُهَيْمِنُ )when used about God means): He Who affords security and protection to His creatures when they are in a state of fear and danger. According to Lisan the word مُهَيْمِنٌ is derived from هَمِنَ which is originally مِنَ the act. part. مُهَيْمِنٌ being really مُؤَامِنٌ and means Wittness; Afforder of security and peace; Controller and Superintendent of the affairs of men; Guardian and Protector. وَمُهَيِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ : And a Guardian over it )5:49( الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ : The Bestower of security, the Protector, the Mighty (59:24). هَيْهَاتَ Denotes one's deeming a thing remote or improbable and despairing of it; and means بَعْدَ جِدًّا : He or it was or became very far off or مَا أَبْعَدَ i. e. how far he or it was; signifying the intensification of the sense of بَعْدَ . The word هَيْهَا followed by ل means بَعْدَ or بَعْدَ التَّصْدِيقُ or بَعُدَ الصِّحَةُ or اَلْبُعْدُ )it was far from being believed or from truth or simply remoteness) and without ل after it, it denotes the pronouncing a thing remote. هَيْهَاتَ كَذَا : Far or far from being believed or from truth is such a thing. هَيْهَاتَ بِكَذَا : Remoteness or remoteness from being believed or from the truth is to be attributed to such a thing. هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوْعَدُونَ : Far, very far from truth is that which you are promised )23:37(. 811
