نذر Palm-tree (19:24). ]aor. يَئِدُّ inf. noun نَد and نَدَّ الْإِبِلُ تَنَادٌ : He (a camel) took fright and fled or ran away at random. تَنَادَّ الْقَوْمَ : The people gathered in an assembly; the people dispersed, opposed and hated or separated. ند : A like of a person or thing. هُوَ نِدُّ فُلان : He is like of such a one. أَنْدَادٌ is plural. فَلا تَجْعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا : Do not set up equals to Allah (2:23). ]aor. يَنْدُرْ inf. noun نَدَ الْقَوْمُ نَدْوًا : The people assembled and came to a meeting. نَدِيٌّ means اَلنَّادِي : Assembly. أَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا : More impressive assembly )19:74( نَادَى الرَّجُلَ : He called to the man. وَنَادَى نُوْحٌ رَّبَّهُ : And Noah called his Lord or cried unto his Lord )11:46( مُنَادٍ : One who calls يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ : The day when the crier will cry or the caller will call )50:42( فَلَمَّا آتَاهَا نُوْدِىَ : When he came to it, he was called )20:12( نَادٍ = نَادِي : One who calls. فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُ : Then let him call his associates. نَادِی means also place of assembly; abode; place of concourse; assembly hall )96:18( إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا : We heard a crier )3:194( تَأْتُوْنَ فِي نَادِيْكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ : You commit abomination in your meetings )20:30( نِدَاءٌ : Calling; cry. إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ نِدَاءً خَفِيًّا : When he called upon his Lord a secret calling )19:4( تَنَادَى الْقَوْمُ : The people called one another. يَوْمَ التنادِ : The Resurrection Day; the day when people will call one another for help; the day when people will take fright and disperse in different directions or when they will hate and oppose each other; the day of assembling together (40:33). لدار ]aor. يَنْذُرُ and يَنْذِرُ inf. noun نَذْرٌ and نَذَرَ أَنْ يَّفْعَلَ كَذَا نُذُوْرٌ : He vowed that he would do such a thing. نَذَرْتُ لِلَّهِ كَذَا : I vowed to do such a thing for the sake of God. نَذَرَ الْوَلَدَ : He vowed that he would dedicate his son (to the service of God(. نَذْرٌ )a vow(. أَوْ : Or you vow a vow )2:271( انْذَرْتُهُ بِالْأَمْرِ : I warned him of the thing. انْذَرْتُ بِالْقَوْمِ بِالْعُدُةِ أَوْ أَنْذَرْتُهُمُ الْعُدُرَّ : I informed or warned the people of the enemy. نَذِرَ الْقَوْمُ بِالْعُدُوِّ : The people knew of the enemy and prepared themselves to meet them. نَذْرٌ and نُذُرٌ : Substantives in the sense of اِنْذَارٌ meaning warning. نَذَرْتُمْ مِّنْ نَّذْرٍ 771 , ند ند نَدَا نَذَرَ
