In this sense it has no singular or it is used both as singular and plural. u ø Û ö ç » Öø è ÷ æ $ Ê ø » ÷ ^ : Some for burden and some for slaughter (6:143). Ê ø ø ø [aor. mø Ë » ô ö inf. noun Ê ø » º ]. Ê ø ø ø ä ü : He made a mark or a notch or a cut or an incision in it Ê ø ø ø : He made a thing i. e. statute or ordinance obligatory or incumbent by a known decree. ö ç » ø é º ]ø Þ» ø Ö» ßø ^ â ø ^ æ ø Ê ø ø » ßF ã ø ^ : This is a Surah which We have revealed and made obligatory (24:2); he assigned or appointed a particular time for doing a thing, or he determined a thing as to time or otherwise.
