صنع صنع و . . 280 28 280 و 280 صنع ]aor. يَصْنَعُ inf. noun صُنْعٌ and صَنَعَ الشَّيْءَ [ صَنْعٌ : He made wrought, manufactured, fabricated or constructed the thing (syn. عَمِلَهُ he made it skilfully or well. الصُّنع signifies إِجَادَةُ الْفِعْلِ ie doing a thing well; and every صُنع is a فِعْلٌ but every فِعْلٌ is not a صُنع صَنَعَ عَلَى فُلانٍ : He forced a word in the name of such a one. صنع ) with the objective complement understood ): He worked or wrought; he practised, exercised an art, a craft or a manufacture. صَنَعَ إِلَيْهِ مَعْرُوفًا : He did to him a favour. صَنَعَ بِهِ صَنِيْعًا قَبِيْحًا : He did to him an evil )صَنَعَ جَارِيَتَهُ . (فَعَلَهُ : He reared, nourished his young woman. وَلِتَصْنَعَ عَلَى عَيْنِي : That thou mightest be reared and nourished before My eye or in My eyesight )20:40( وَحَبَطَ مَا صَنَعُوْا : And what they have wrought shall come to naught )11:17( وَاصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا : And build the Ark under Our eyes )11:38( صُنع )inf. noun from صَنع( : Work; handiwork; doing. صُنْعَ اللهِ الَّذِى : The handiwork, (work or doing) of Allah Who (289) also means, sustenance. صَنْعَةٌ : Work or handiwork, an art, a craft or handicraft or a trade; any occupation of a man; work of art or skill of a worker. عَلَّمْنَاهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوْسٍ : We taught him the making of coats of mail )21:81( مَصْنَعَةٌ ) and مَصْع( : A kind of tank or reservoir for collecting rain-water; مَصْعَةٌ also means a feast. كُنَّا فِي مَصْنَعَةِ فَلَانٍ We were invited to feast by such a one. مَصَانِعُ )plural) of مَصْنَعَةٌ( signifies also palaces, fortresses or pavilions; towns or villages. هُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَصَانِعِ : He is of the people of the towns or villages and of the cultivated land; also places set apart for horses, away from the tents or houses. وَتَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ : And do you erect palaces )26:130( اِصْطَبَعَهُ : He reared him and educated, disciplined or trained him well. اِصْطَبَعَهُ لِنَفْسِهِ : He chose him for himself. اِصْطِنَاعُ : According to Imam Raghib, signifies the exceeding of the usual or ordinary bounds or degree in putting a thing into a good, sound, right or proper state. اِصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي : I have chosen thee for Myself; I have reared thee or I have chosen thee for a special purpose or task which I require thee to accomplish in a befitting manner )20:42( اِصْطَفَعَ شَيْئًا : He ordered that a thing should be made for him. اِصْطَبَعَهُ also 28 492 :
