صلح صلب وَجْهَهَا : She struck her or smote her face )51:30( صَكَ وَجْهَهُ : He slapped his face. صَلَبَ ]aor يَصْلُبُ and يَصْلِبُ inf. noun صَلَبَ الشَّيْءَ صَلْبٌ : He burned the thing صَلَبَ اللَّحْمَ : He roasted or boiled or fried the flesh-meat and made its grease to flow. صَلَبَ الْعِظَامَ : He collected and cooked the bones and extracted their marrow صَلَبَتْهُ الشَّمْسُ : The sun burned him, causing his sweat to flow. صَلَبَهُ )and( صَلَّبَهُ( : He crucified him i. e. he put him to death in a certain well-known manner. وَمَا قَتَلُوْهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوْهُ : And they slew him not, nor crucified him )4:15( صَلُبَ : It was hard rigid, firm etc. صَلَّبَ الصَّ : He crucified the thief. صَلَّبَ الرَّاهِبُ : The monk made or took for himself a cross; the monk made a sign of the cross. لا صَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ : Then I will surely crucify you all together )7:125( صُلْبٌ Hard, firm, rigid or hardy or rugged (syn. مَكَانٌ صَلَبٌ شَدِيدٌ : A rugged, hard place. صُلْبٌ : The back-bone; a portion of the back; any portion of the back containing vertebrae loins; the back; )أَصْلَابٌ plural(. مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ : From between the loins and the breast bones )86:8( هُوَ مِنْ صُلْبِ فُلانٍ : He has sprung from the loins of such a one i. e. is his offspring. الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ أَصْلَا بِكُمْ : That are from your loins (4:24). صَلْحَ laor. يَصْلُحُ and صَلَحَ aor. يَصْلُحُ and يَصْلَحُ inf. noun صلاح and صَلَحَ أَوْ صَلُحَ صَلَاحِيَّةٌ : It was or became in a sound, good or proper state or in a state of order; he or it throve; It or he was or became good, right, just, righteous or incorrupt or honest. صَلُحَتْ حَالُ فُلان : The state or condition of such a one became = good, right, proper etc. هَذَا الشَّيْءُ يَصْلُحُ لَكَ : This thing is suitable to thee; or fit or meet for thee. وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ ابْآئِهِمْ : And who are righteous from among their fathers )13:24( اَصْلَحَ : He corrected or reformed, amended, or improved; he promoted or brought about peace, harmony or reconciliation; he performed a good deed; فَمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ : So those who believe and reform themselves )6:49( تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَاَصْلَحُوْا : Who repent thereafter and amend )390( اَصْلَحَةُ : )inf. noun اِصْلَاحُ( : He or it made it or him good, incorrupt etc; he constituted it or arranged 486
