اخر مُتَّخِذَةٌ) أَخْدَانِ singular and مُتَّخِذَاتٌ plural): And nor taking secret lovers (4:26). أَخْرَ inf. noun أَخْرَهُ : تَأْخِيْرٌ He put it back; he held or kept it back or placed it behind; he postponed or delayed it; contrary of قَدَّمَ أَخْرَنِي إِلَى مُدَّةٍ : He granted me a delay, respite or postponement. بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخْرَ : What he has sent forward and what he has left behind Wouldst Thou not grant us respite : لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ .
