to pass )1962( وَالْمُؤْتُونَ الزَّكوة )act part): Those who give Zakat (4:163). أَنَّ ]aor. يَأْتُ and يَئِتُ and يَأْتُ inf. noun آثَاثًا and آثَاثَةَ and أَثَوْنَنًا[ : It was or became much in quantity, abundant or numerous; it became great or large آثَاتُ : Goods or utensils and furniture of a house; household foods; all property consisting of camels, sheep, goats, horses, utensils and furniture. It also means abundant property. هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَانًا : They will be better off in their wealth (foods, property etc. ). (19:75) -- ]aor. يَأْثِرُ and أَثَرَ خُفَّ الْبَعِيرِ يَأْثُرُ : He made an incision in the foot of the camel. أَثَرَ الْحَدِيثَ : He recited or narrated the story or tradition. أَثَرَهُ وَأَثَارَهُ : He honoured him ] أَثَرٌ and أَثْرَةُ and آثَارَةٌ inf noun[ أَثَرٌ or أَثَارَةٌ : A remain or relic of a thing; a trace, sign or mark; a footstep, vestige or track; a footprint, impression or mark made by the foot of a man upon the ground. مِنْ أَثَرِ الرَّسُوْلِ : The impress of the Messenger )20:97( مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ : Traces or impressions of prostrations )48:30( هُمْ أُولَاءِ عَلَى أَثَرِى : They are following in my footstep )20:85( أَثَارَةٌ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ : A remain or relic of knowledge transmitted or handed down from the former generations )465( آثار is the plural of فَانْظُرْ إِلَى آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّهِ اَثَرٌ : So look at the signs (or marks) of Allah's mercy )30:51( فَارْتَدَّ عَلَى اثَارِهِمْ قَصَصًا : So they returned retracing their footsteps They were mightier than these : كَانُوا هُمْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَّاثَارًا (18:65). in power and in the marks (or traces or signs) they left behind )4:22( اثر )inf. noun اِسْثَارٌ( : He preferred him. أَثَرَهُ عَلَى نَفْسِي : He preferred him to myself. اثْرَهُ : He honoured him. أثَرَ also means he chose, selected or elected لَقَدْ اثْرَكَ اللهُ عَلَيْنَا : Indeed Allah has preferred thee above us )12:92( يُؤْثِرُوْنَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ : They prefer them to their own souls (59:10). (34:17) و 28 ]aor. يَأْثَمُ inf. noun مَأْثَمٌ and أَثَامٌ and إِثْمٌ[ : He fell into sin or crime; he sinned or committed a sin or crime; he did what was unlawful. أَثَامٌ ) إِثْمٌ plural) : A sin or crime, a fault, an offence or an act of disobedience for which one deserves punishment; that 6 اث ات اثَرَ اثْلُ أَثِمَ
