رحل رحب or رَحُبَتْ or رَحِبَتِ الدَّارُ [اَرْحَبَ and يَرْحَبُ aor رَحِبَ and يَرْحُبُ . aor] رَحُبَ أَرْحَبَتْ : The house was ample, spacious, wide or roomy or may the house be ample. ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ : The land or earth became strait for them with all its vastness )9:118( رَحُبَ كَ الْمَكَانُ : May the place be spacious for thee. رَحْبَ بِهِ : He welcomed him; he invited him to ampleness i. e. may he have ampleness. مَرْحَبٌ is an inf. noun like رُحْبٌ or is a noun of place. مَرْحَبًا بِكَ : Thou has come to, found, or alighted in ampleness, or thou art welcome. لا مَرْحَبًا بِهِمْ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا النَّارِ : No welcome for them, they must burn in the Fire )38:60( أَهْلاً وَسَهْلاً وَمَرْحَبًا : Thou hast come to thine own kins folk and hast found ease and ampleness and therefore be cheerful and be not sad. رَحِيْقُ رَحَقَ : Wine; the choicest, the sweetest, the most excellent; the oldest and the most excellent; or unadulterated or pure wine or wine that is easy to swallow; a sort of perfume مِسْفٌ رَّحِيقٌ : Unadulterated musk حَسَبٌ رَّحِيقٌ : Pure or genuine pedigree. يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ رَّحِيْقٍ مَّخْتُوْمٍ : They will be given to drink of a pure sealed beverage (83:26). 28 یک رَحَلَ ]aor. يَرْحَلُ inf. noun رَحْلٌ and رَحَلَ الْبَعِيرَ رَحِيلٌ : He saddled the camel; he mounted the camel. رَحَلُ بِسَيْفِهِ : He smote him with his sword. رَحَلَ فُلَانٌ فُلانًا : Such a one mounted upon the back of such a one. رَحَلَ عَنِ الْمَكَانِ : He departed from the place. إِرْتَحَلَ الْقَوْمُ : The people departed. رَحْلٌ : A saddle for a camel الْقَى رَحْلَهُ أَوْ حَطَّ رَحْلَهُ : He stayed or abode, a man's dwelling abode or habitation or a place to which he betakes himself; or a place of resort الْمُسَافِرُ إِلَى رَحْلِهِ : The traveller returned to his abode; goods, utensils or apparatus of a traveller because they are in travel the things to which he betakes himself; saddle bag جَعَلَ السِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ أَخِيْهِ : He put the drinking cup in his brother's saddle-bag )12:71( رِحَالٌ )plural): Saddle-bags; abodes, houses or habitations; camels' saddles. إِجْعَلُوْا بِضَاعَتَهُمْ فِي رِحَالِهِمْ : Put their money in their saddle-bags )12:63( هَذَا مَحَطَّ الرِّحَالِ : This is the place where the camels' saddles are put down. صَلُّوْا فِي رِجَالِكُمْ : Say your Prayer in your abodes (houses, habitations), (a 318
