دک دفع )22:41( دَافِعُ )act part): One who repels, averts, defends. مَالَهُ مِنْ دَافِعٍ : There is none that can avert it (52:9). دَفَقَ ]aor. يَدْفُقُ inf. noun دَفَقَ الْمَاءَ دَفْقٌ : He poured out the water with vehemence. دَفَقَ النَّهْرُ : The stream became so full that water began to flow out from its sides دَفَقَتِ الدَّابَّةُ : The beast hastened or went quickly. act. part. ): Pouring forth or the thing that pours forth. ماء دَافِقٌ : Water pouring forth or gushing water. خُلِقَ مِنْ مَّاءٍ دَافِقٍ : He is created froma gushing fluid (86:7). لگ 28 دَكَّ ]aor. يَدُ inf. noun دَكَ الْحَائِطَ دَى : He demolished the wall so as to make it even with the ground; he felled or demolished or broke it into pieces. دَكَ الْأَرْضَ : He made even the elevations and depressions of the ground. دَكَّ اَوْ أَرْضُ دَكَّ : Even or level place; ground broken and made even. جَعَلَهُ دَكَّا : He (God) made it even or level without any elevations or crumble or broke into pieces or pounded and pulverized it and made it level or broke it into pieces (7:144); even or level sand. إذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًا دَكَّا : When the earth shall be completely broken into pieces and made level )89:22( فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَّاحِدَةً : And then shall be crushed with one crash )69:15( دَكَّةٌ : One crash; falling down in a single crash; the word also signifies an elevated place; a flat topped structure upon which one sits دَكَ الدَّابَّةَ بِالسَّيْرِ : He distressed or jaded or fatigued the beast by journeying دَكَّتْهُ الْحُمَّى : Fever weakened or crushedhim دَكَّهُ : Herepelled or pushed him. دَكَّ التَّرَابَ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ : He دَلَّ put earth upon the dead. ]aor. يَدُلُّ inf. noun دَلَّهُ إِلَى الشَّيْءِ وَعَلَيْهِ [دَللَّةٌ : He directed him, guided him to the thing. دَلَّ الشَّيْءَ إِلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِ : He indicated the thing to him (inf. noun دَلَّهُ الطَّرِيقَ . (دُلُوْلَةٌ : He directed him to the way, or showed him the way. مَا دَلُّهُمْ عَلَى مَوْتِهِ : Nothing pointed out to them (or directed to them( that he was dead )34:15( هَلْ اَدُلُّكَ عَلَى شَجَرَةِ الْخُلْدِ : Shall I lead (or guide or direct) thee to the tree of eternity( )20:121( دَلَّ يَدُلُّ : He emboldened. مَا دَلَّكَ عَلَى هَذَا : What has emboldened thee to do this. دَلَّتِ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا : The woman behaved with boldness towards her husband and with amorous gesture and feigning opposition دَلِيْلٌ : A 272
