خال خام night; the dawn that appears black and spreads sideways; the night. حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ . The night and the day : الْخَيْطَان : Until the white thread becomes distinct to you from the black thread )2188( خِيَاطٌ : A needle فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ : Into the eye of the needle )7:41( حَيَّاطٌ : A seamster. خَالَ aor. يَخَالُ inf. noun خَيْلٌ and خَيْلَةٌ and خَالٌ and خَالَ الشَّيْءَ خَيْلانٌ : He surmised, fancied, imagined, thought, opined, or knew the thing. خُيّلَ لَهُ كَذَا : Such a thing was imaged to him in his mind i. e. such a thing seemed to him. خُيْلَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ كَذَا : It seemed to him that it was so. يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ سِحْرِهِمْ : Their staves appeared to him by their magic )2067( خيل Horses collectively; cavalry; used as singular and plural, males and females; horsemen or riders of horses. وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبَغَالَ وَالْحَمِيْرَ : Horses and mules and asses )16:9( وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِخَيْلِكَ وَ رَجِلِكَ : And urge against them thy horsemen and thy footmen (cavalry and infantry). (1765): He was proud or haughty or he behaved proudly or haughtily . مختال : Proud and self-conceited or vain; one who walks with a proud and self-conceited gait, with an affected inclining of his body 28 from side to side. لايُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍ : He (God) loves not any proud or vain or self-conceited boaster (31:19). 28 خَامَ ]aor. يَخِيْمُ inf. noun خَامَ فِي الْقِتَالِ خَيْمٌ : Heheld back in fighting through cowardice and fear and attained no good. خِيَامٌ ) خَيْمَةٌ )plural) : Tent; any house that is not built of stones and bricks; a place of abode; pavilion; a construction of trees and palm-branches with their leaves upon them, which a man uses for shade when he brings his camel to water. الشَّهِيدُ فِي خَيْمَةِ اللَّهِ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ : The martyr is in the tabernacle of God beneath His throne. It is also applied to women's vehicles of the kind called : مَقْصُوْرَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ خِيَامٌ and خِيَمٌ and خَيْمَاتٌ is خَيْمَةٌ Plural of . هَوَادِجُ Well guarded in pavilions (55:73). 258
