ثج ثَجَّ ثرب life time. ثُبَةٌ )plural( 1) : (ثبات( A company of men; (2) a distinct body or company of men; (3) a company in a state of separation or dispersion; (4) a troop of horsemen; (5) the middle of a tank; (6) the place where the water collects in a valley or low ground. فَانْفِرُوْا ثُبَاتٍ : Then go forth in separate companies )4:72(. لگ ]aor. يَشَجُّ inf. noun تَنَجَّا and تَجَّ الْمَاءُ تُجُوْجًا : The water flowed; it poured forth vehemently or much. نَجَاجٌ or تَجُوْجٌ : Water or rain 28 pouring forth vehemently or flowing much, applied to water, rain or blood. فُلَانٌ غَيْتُهُ ثَجَّاجٌ وَ بَحْرُهُ عَجَّاجٌ : The rain of such a one pours forth vehemently. And his sea is noisy i. e. he is abundant in bounty. أَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاءً ثَجَّاجًا : We sent down from the clouds water pouring forth vehemently (78:15). تَخُنَ = and تَخَنَ ]aor. يَتْخُنُ inf. noun تُخُوْنَةً and تَخَانَةً and تَخِنًا[ : It was or became thick, big or gross, it was or became firm, stiff or strong; it became thick or dense انخنه : He rendered it thick, coarse, strong, dense, firm etc; he or it weakened him or enervated him. اَنْخَحَبَهُ : He beat him much or excessively. انْخَنتَهُ : I weakened him by causing wound to him. أَنْخَنَ فِي الْأَمْرِ : He exerted himself vigorously in the affair. اَتْخَنَ فِى الْعَدُوِّ : He made a great slaughter among the enemy. الْخَنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ : He made a great slaughter in the land. حَتَّى إِذَا أَنْخَسْتُمُوْهُمْ : So when you have weakened them by causing great slaughter among them; when you have overcome them (47:5). १०० ثَرَبَ ]aor. يَشْرِبُ inf. noun 1) : ثَرَبَهُ [ثَرْبٌ( He stripped the beast of the fat covering the bowels; (2) He stripped him of his garment. تَرَّبَ عَلَيْهِ )inf. noun 1) : (تَشْرِيْبٌ( he blamed him; (2) he blamed him or reproached him; (3) he upbraided him or reproached him with or for his offence or crime and reminded him thereof; (4) he reproached him and showed him his deed to be foul or abominable. تَقْرِيبٌ being inf. noun possesses all the above-mentioned meanings i. e. removing the fat from over the bowels; the act of blaming or reproving for an offence; severe upbraiding that takes away brightness of countenance; reminding a man of his offences; exposing the foulness of the 113
