باد بَادَ باع enemy by night when he is heedless; a great slaughter among the enemy by night. أَتَاهُمْ أَمْرُنَا بَيَاتًا : Our command came upon them by night. فَجَاءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا : Our punishment came upon them by night (7:5). ووه ]aor. يَيْدُ inf. noun بَوْدًا and بَوَادًا and بَيْدًا and بَيَادًا and بُيُرْدًا and بَيْدُوْرَةً[ : He or it perished; passed away; became extinct بَادَتِ الشَّمْسُ : The sun set. أَنْ تَبِيْدَ هَذِهِ اَبَدًا : That this will ever perish )18:36( بَيْدَاءُ : desert; a waterless desert. بَاضَ ]aor. يَيْضُ inf. noun بَاضَهُ بَيْضًا : He excelled him in whiteness. بَاضَ الطَّائِرُ : The bird laid its egg بَاضَ الْمَكَانَ : He stayed in the house. بَاضَ الْحَرُّ : The heat became intense. بَيَّضَهُ : He made it white. إِبْيَضُ : It was or became white. إِبْيَضٌ وَجْهُهُ : His face became white i. e. expressive of joy; he became cheerful; his character became cleared. يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُ وُجُوهٌ : On the day when some faces shall be white )3:107( بِيْضٌ بَيْضَةً )plural) : An egg; a helmet; a testicle; a kind of grape in Al-Taif, white and large; the fat of a camel's hump; a receptacle; a beautiful woman بَيْضَةُ الدَّارِ : The main part of the house. اَرْضُ بَيْضَاءُ : Land in which there is no herbage بَيْضَةُ الصَّيْفِ : The main part of the summer or the intense heat of the summer. بَيْضَةُ الْعُقْرِ : The last born of the children. بَيْضَةُ الْمَلِكِ : The seat of regal power. بَيْضَةُ الْخِدْرِ : The damsel of the curtain. كَأَنَّهُمْ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ : As though they are sheltered eggs )37:50( بَيْضٌ أَبْيَضُ plural and بَيْضَاءُ feminine( : White; white in complexion. بَيْضَاءُ : A calamity; a favour which is not asked; a year of scarcity. فُلَانٌ أَبْيَضُ الْوَجْهِ : Such a one is clear or white in face; pure from faults and generous. بَيْضَاءُ : A woman white in face; unsullied in honour. بَيْضَاءُ : A piece of paper on which nothing is written الْأَبْيَضُ : The sword; silver. الْبَيْضَاءُ : The sun because of its whiteness. الْخَيْطُ الْاَبْيَضُ : The white thread )2:188( فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاءُ لِلنَّاظِرِينَ : And lo! it was white for the beholders )7:109( وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيْضٌ : And among the mountains are streaks white )35:28( بَيَاضٌ : whiteness; milk; the white of an egg. الْمَوْتُ الْأَبْيَضُ : Sudden death. بَاعَ aor. يَسْعُ inf. noun. بَاعَهُ بَيْعٌ : He sold it; he bought it.
