بقى بقع Verily, cows appear to us alike )2:71( إِنِّي أَرَى سَبْعَ بَقَرَاتٍ سِمَانِ : I see in a dream seven fat cows )12:44( بقرّ is also applied to a family whose maintenance is incumbent upon a person and who lives with a person. إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَذْبَحُوْا بَقَرَةً : Verily Allah commands you to slaughter a cow (2:68). : I بَقِعَ ]aor. يَبْقَعُ inf. noun بَفْعًا [ : It was black and white. لَا اَدْرِى أَيْنَ بَقَعَ : do not know where he went. بَقَعَتْهُمُ الدَّاهِيَةُ : Calamity befell them. بُقْعَةٌ and بَقْعَةٌ : A piece or plot of land; a piece of land differing in colour or condition from that which adjoins it; a place where water remains and stagnates فُلانٌ حَسَنُ الْبَقْعَةِ عِنْدَ الْأَمِيرِ : Such a one has a good station with the leader. بقيع : A wide or spacious place or piece of land; a piece of land full of different kinds of trees. إِبْنُ بَقِيْعٍ : Dog. فِي الْبُقْعَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ : In the blessed spot )28:31(. الأَبْقَع : The mirage 28 28 بَقَلَ ]aor. يَبْقُلُ inf. noun بَقْلٌ and بُقُوْلٌ[ : It came forth; it appeared; it put forth its beard. He collected بَقْلْ which means tender plants which are neither shrubs nor trees; herbs; vegetables. مِنْ بَقْلِهَا : Of its herbs )2:62( بَقَلَ الْمَكَانُ : The place grew its بَقْلٌ )herbs(. أَرْضُ بَقِيْلَةٌ : A land which grows بَقَالٌ . بَقْلٌ : one who sells بَقْلٌ (vegetables). ١٠٠٥ 28 28 بَقِى ]aor. يَبْقَى inf. noun بَقَاءٌ and بَاقِيَةٌ[ : He remained continued, lasted, endured; he was or became permanent. بَقِىَ زَمَانًا طَوِيلاً : He lived for a long time. بَقِىَ مِنَ الشَّيْءِ بَقِيَّةٌ : A remain remnant, relic or residue of the thing remained. اَبْقَاهُ : He made him to become permanent or continue to live for ever. اَبْقَاهُ اللهُ : May God preserve him, or God preserved him. أَبْقَى عَلَيْهِ : He pardoned him; he took pity on him. اَبْقَى : More enduring. اَلْبَاقِي is one of the attributes of God meaning Everlasting. وَذَرُوْا مَا بَقِىَ مِنَ الرِّبوا : And give up what remains of the interest )2:279( وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وابقى : And the provision of thy Lord is better and more lasting )20:132( لَا تُبْقِي وَلَا تَذَرُ : It spares not, nor does it leave )74:29(. بَاقُوْنَ) بَاقٍ and بَاقِيْنَ plural(. وَمَا عِنْدَ اللهِ بَاقٍ : And what is with Allah is lasting or will remain )16:97( ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ : Then We drowned the rest, or who had remained behind )26:121( بَاقِيَةٌ 82
