outward, external, apparent, manifest plain, evident cont. of eø ^  ô à º. It also means the external, outward state of a man and the outward or apparent character of the mind. ¾ ø ^ â ô  ÷ ] : Outwardly; overpowering. Ê ö ¡ á º ¾ ø ^ â ô  º Â ø ×F o Ê ö ¡ á õ : Such a one has ascendancy over such a one. ]ô Ö ^ $ Ú ô  ø ] ? ð ÷ ¾ ø ^ â ô  ÷ ] : But outward contending or overpowering argument (18:23). ¾ ø ^ â ô  ÷ ] Ú ôù à ø ] Ö» v ø nø ^ é ô ] Ö  % Þ» nø ^ : The outer aspect of this life (30:8). ]ø Ö ¿ $ ^ â ô  ö : Is an attribute of God, meaning Manifest; the Ascendant over all things. ] Ö ¿ $ ^ â ô  ö æ ø ] Ö» fø ^  ô à ö : He is the Manifest and the Hidden (57:4). ]ø Ö ¿ $ ^ â ô  ö signifies also One Who is known by inference of the mind from what appears to mankind of the effects of His actions and His attributes. ¾ ø ^ â ô  ô m» à ø is the plural of ¾ ø ^ â ô  º which also means, ascendant, predominant, victorious. Ê ø ^ø  » fø v ö ç » ] ¾ ø ^ â ô  ô m» à ø : And they became victorious (62:15). ¾ ø ^ â ô  ø é º (feminine of ¾ ø ^ â ô  º ). Þô Ã ø Û ø ä ü ¾ ø ^ â ô  ø é ÷ æ $ eø ^  ô ßø è ÷ : Both externally and internally (31:21).
