A Review of the Pakistani Government’s “White Paper”: Qadiyaniyyat—A Grave Threat to Islam [ 3 ] We have been presented many instances of Pakistani citizens who openly remonstrate against this law saying that they do not know about Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib or whether he was in fact appointed by God, and that they should not be burdened with this sin [of rejecting him as without knowledge]. However, since they cannot carry out their normal activities and are forced against their will, a sizeable number of such citizens unwillingly sign the declaration of denunciation. The Loss of Their Rights Another method of vilification deprives Ahmad i s of their fundamental rights and subjects them to brutal persecution while their persecutors receive support and are encouraged by the government. Those who dare come forward as witnesses in favour of Ahmad i s are rejected, while those who bear false witness against Ahmad i s are supported and trusted as credible. There are a variety of hostile and discriminatory measures against Ahmad i s. For example, they are denied employment and attempts are made to refuse them admission into the academic institutions. These and numerous other harassments in every-day life are used with the singular intent of making Ahmad i s recant their faith. As the world knows—and this realisation is coming to the people of Pakistan in no uncertain terms— any attempt to make Ahmad i s renounce Ahmadiyyat
