have remained unfulfilled if his life on earth would have come to an end a few days after the event of the crucifixion. It was, therefore, incumbent upon him to journey to the lands in which the lost tribes of Israel had been scattered at the end of their Babylonian captivity. Jesus was sure that they would hear his voice, that is to say, they would accept him. These lands were situated in the north-eastern sector of Asia extending from Syria, through Iran and Afghanistan into Kashmir and possibly Tibet. We shall take up his trail a few pages further on. 104
