Appreciation of Flowers 125 Now you hear this voice continuously— at all times This is the very deserted garden of Islam. In this environment, the reality of the Holy Quran and the truth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa was becoming doubtful even to those who called themselves Muslims, many of whom had already fallen in the lap of Christianity. The Christian clergy, Aryas, Brahmu and all other religions were constantly attacking Islam. The Christians were most active and with the commanding position of their government and with their cunning moves, they were bent upon destroying Islam and removing it from the face of the earth. Watching this grave situation, the fires of passionate love for God, and his beloved Hadrat Muhammad sa was enflamed in the heart of Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as , and his concern for the backing of the faith was excited. On the one hand, after diving deep in the deep ocean of the Holy Quran, Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as brought out and scattered the priceless pearls and gems of wisdom and knowledge of the Divine, and on the other hand gave such crushing replies to the objections raised against Islam with the knowledge of science, astronomy, philosophy, physics and other branches of knowledge, that it caused a great panic in the religious world, and the bright and shining sun of Islam, as it was unveiled, began to illuminate the world. Witnessing the helpless situation of the Muslims and the pitiable state of Islam, Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as felt deep concern.
